At approx. 9am this morning the FedEx guy was dropping off my shipment on my doorstep. Less than 24hrs shipping! (their warehouse is in Georgia and I'm in southwest FL) I'm leaving this review because there's quite a few reviews saying that they're a scam. Well, they're not. They had the best deal going for 1000 rounds, and they even gave me free shipping.

I got the product (9mm Norma 124gr) within a week from ordering online. I read the plentiful negative reviews but threw my dice and it came out OK (thank God, literally, because I can't afford to lose money!). AmmoShopOnline could do better with the form emails they send because their wording is not very appropriate and that's misleading for the buyer. But after getting clarification from a sales rep (which happened quickly) their procedure was more clear and correct. The shipping box was wrapped with "Tamper Detection" tape so no one within Fedex could very easily open or damage the shipment. That's a pretty god policy in these days and times. I traced BBB reviews and ASO responses and it looks like they improved their methods within the last few months so maybe their flow from order to Fedex will become solid and their only weak link will be Fedex. If ASO manages their Fedex results maybe the problems will go away after the ammo frenzy settles down. I'll order again from them but will have no tolerance for anything that smells shady. If they produce honest results they could be great for me. Only real experience will tell for sure.

While they did make this right, I won't order from them again until they change their shipper or change their shipping terms so that you aren't responsible for shipments once they are turned over to Fed Ex. Even so, since they refunded the order they definitely deserve five stars.

Everything was fine, got my order within the time promised and everything was there and functions. Maybe they could have sent more status updates and been a little faster. I definitely have other sites I would go to to get stuff fast, but the price and product were good and all in all it was less than 2 weeks.

First Fed Ex showed that the shipment was delayed because the barcode label was unreadable, then it got stuck in Georgia, then it disappeared in Hutchins, TX on the way to Houston and now Fed Ex basically says they don't know where it is. I never would have placed this order had I read the reviews about the problems so many of their customers have had with shipments being lost. A reputable company would never continue to ship ammunition via the same carrier if that carrier consistently lost the ammunition. I don't know if they're so incompetent that they don't have enough sense to use a carrier that doesn't constantly lose shipments, but whatever the case may be, I would never order from these people again.

Contacted customer service and they told me they would send my correct order and would send me a fed ex label to return the wrong order. after a few days (could not find the time to make it to a fed ex) emailed them about scheduling a pickup and asked why i had not received a new tracking order. no response. Called the next day and was told I werent sending my order until they received the wrong items back. let them know haven't had time to get to a fed ex. she told me sorry but until they get that order back i wasn't getting what i paid for. told them im not their employe and they arent paying for my time or gas and to schedule a pick up and was going to file a complaint with state attorney generals office for with holding my merchandise since they messed up. she scheduled a pick up and told me I would recieve a refund when they recieve the wrong order back. asked why i was now receiving a refund instead of merchandise. Rep told me "We don't do business with people who file complaints" and then hung up on me. called back to speak to a manager but of course there won't be ANY manager that can take my call until next week.

FedEx claims delivered but camera shows they never came on property to deliver. Numerous calls and emails to ammoshoponline with no response from them at all. They refuse to contact me or file the claim with FedEx. Do not do business with this company they are a fraud

I was a little hesitant because the prior purchase took so long. I am paying FEDEX prices to get my ammo in a timely manner. I received a shipping notification on the 12th, the same day my friend down the street, who placed an order at the same time received his ammo. FEDEX tracking states that the ammo was picked up on April 14th. FEDEX shows that the package arrived in Augusta on April 16th, but was damaged and returned. The 20th I called Ammoshoponline. I was told that they receive the package and it would be resent and I would receive an email. I call today, the 23rd. I asked for the status of my order. I was told it was shipped the prior day. The individual on the line said it was FEDEXs fault, although stating that they sent it again by FEDEX, and cannot provide me an arrival date. I told the lady that I had spoken to someone prior and that I was told it was going to be addressed on the 20th. The lady became rude, again telling me that all of their problems are FEDEXs fault, and that they were way too busy with thousands of packages going out every day to deal with my issue. When I was trying to talk to her about it, she threatened to cancel my order and give me a refund. If FEDEX is the issue, and you continue to use them, it is your issue. Of note, the same rude lady, promised that I would get an email with the tracking information, and I did not. Sounds like they dont need my business.

Prices half of what the price gougers currently getting even with a $5 handling fee and high Fedex shipping 3. Fast delivery - ordered on Sat when they were closed, shipping notice on Mon and delivery on Wed. The key is to set up an account so the computer will track your order and delivery. Small operation swamped with phone calls which has caused poor reviews. Will definitely use them again. Not connected in any way with this company

We need to remember and support the businesses that have been good to us when prices go back to normal. I ordered from this company on a Saturday, and my order was shipped by Tuesday, which I am very happy with. The items arrived as described and were packaged well. I see a lot of service complaints for this company, but I never needed to contact them since my order was shipped quickly and arrived as expected.

Overall expense was $1200. I didnt read the reviews on the vendor beforehand. After a few days and no shipping confirmation, I emailed the vendor to check on the status. I got back an automated email that said their website was down but theyre still taking orders and orders that predated the event were still being shipped. I called them. No answer. I then read some reviews because of the email and lack of contact. Needless to say I was quite worried. I tried calling again, and again no contact was made. I emailed them a second time letting them know that I was familiar with their reviews both on BBB and other sites, and that lack of communication is a big deal to me and that if I didnt get my orders in a timely manner along with the current lack of contact, that Id be disputing every charge with my bank. Still no contact. However...I got all the ammo that I bought, and it was well packaged...all within a week of that last email. I dont know if the email made a difference or if they even read it. The place could be under new management, who knows. What I do know...is that I got every bit of what I ordered and I got it relatively quickly. The only downside really in my own experience was the lack of communication. Still on the fence with this place. But the ammo they carry is fantastic and hard to find.

A week goes by. Hold is lifted from my card. Tried to call them to find out what is going on but you get an automates system that has you wait on hold for several minutes with the obligatory elevator music before telling you that all representatives are busy and to please leave a message...which i did...but haven't gotten a response back from them. They are still advertising the ammo I tried to purchase but now it is listed at a higher price and there is no explanation from them as to what is going on and whether or not my order is still okay or if it's been canceled. Kind of hard to get to the bottom of anything when they won't answer their phone. I should've known better based on the other reviews here from people who've had the same thing happen to them.

First shipping was a bit slow, but the second order came in four days so very pleased. Packaging was good, tamper resistant tape and boxes packed tight on the inside. Will order again as their pricing as come down in recent days. Very competitive now as compared to other online order sites.

I received a confirmation right away. After no shipping info still on Dec 5 and reading some reviews I kind of got concerned and I decided to send them an email. They responded to me within hours explaining and apologizing for the delays. Two days later I had a fed ex shipping notification and I received my ammo in perfect condition on Dec 9th. The only reason I gave them 3/5 on shipping is because their shipping price is very high but their cheaper ammo prices did offset a good portion of it. In my spare time I help my buddy at his archery shop in North Jersey and shipping into our store from our reputable suppliers has been chocked full of brutally long delays, even on in-stock items. Keep in mind these are unprecedented times and shipping times for almost everything are grossly delayed.

Waited a month and never received anything. No emails, no calls, no tracking number, nothing. When you call for customer services, the phone rings continually until voice mail picks it up. Emails go ignored. I had to threaten to charge back the order in order to get a response! Then they let the email chain die without answering ANYTHING. Finally when I gave a deadline or else I'd charge back the order, they decided they could call me. When trying to discuss how ridiculous that showing product in stock and then not shipping it is false advertisement and a simple call or notice on the delay would have been nice. In response the customer service rep told me "I don't get paid to catch crap from customers" and I had to request to speak to a supervisor. When speaking to the supervisor I firmly told her I wanted a refund, and she agreed. 10 minutes later... somehow this product was shipped out and had a tracking number, and I would not be issued a refund unless their 3rd party warehouse (A whole other excuse they give for the poor service and falsely stating availability) received this back. BUYER BEWARE! If you order here, you'll be lucky to get your order, and probably will never hear from them for any reason. Trustpilot
